K.E.E.S Glaziers was started on the 27th July
1966 as a four-man partnership. Its founder Mr E. G Hawkes had
two objectives, to build a successful company, and serve the local
people well, with care. These objectives were achieved and are
still carried out to this day.
We have worked on several local prestigious projects including the restoration
of the Oakley Court Hotel, and most recently the restoration of Windsor Castle
after the fire. Needless to say it was an honour to be selected to work at
Windsor Castle and called on the services of one of the original partners,
Ted Hawkes, who supplied us with his knowledge and glass cutting skills. Ted's
son Steve, who now owns and runs the business with his wife Joy, took over
the business in 1995 and has the same goals as his father did and has made
several improvements to the business. The business name was also changed slightly
by removing the dot's from the name K.E.E.S to read Kees Glaziers.
We still offer the same quality service you would have expected over 30 years
ago and have added to these. We now offer glass edge processing, soon to be
upgraded to include on site bevelling and shaped polishing, and will be manufacturing
double-glazed units in the near future. We are in the process of building a
new workshop to accommodate new machinery. These will be added to the existing
services shortly
